Refund Policy

This policy explains when refunds apply to services provided by Sphere Local Ranking Solutions ("Sphere", "we", "us"). It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
14-day cancellation right (consumers)
If you are a consumer (not a business) and you buy a service from us online, by phone or off our premises, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day the contract is made. To cancel, email izzy@spherebusinessservices.com within that window and we will refund any payments made.
If you ask us to begin work during the 14 days and then cancel, we may keep an amount proportionate to the work already carried out. Once the service is fully performed within the cooling-off period with your express consent, the right to cancel is lost.
Business customers
The statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply to business customers. Refunds for business engagements are governed by the written agreement between us and the terms set out below.
Deposits
Deposits secure your slot in our schedule and cover initial onboarding, audit and strategy work. Deposits are non-refundable once work has started, but can be transferred to a rescheduled start date within 60 days where reasonable.
Monthly retainers
- Retainers are billed in advance for the month ahead.
- You can cancel future months at any time by giving 30 days' written notice.
- The current month's fee is not refundable once work for that month has begun, as the time and resources are already committed.
- If we have not started any work for the current billing month at the point of cancellation, we will refund that month in full.
One-off projects
For fixed-scope projects (for example a website build or profile rebuild), refunds are calculated against project milestones agreed in writing:
- Before work begins: full refund less any non-recoverable third-party costs (domains, stock assets, licences).
- After kick-off, before first deliverable: refund of any unused portion of the fee.
- After a deliverable has been accepted or signed off: that milestone is non-refundable.
Third-party costs
Payments made on your behalf to third parties — for example Google Ads spend, hosting, domains, plugins, stock imagery or paid directories — are not refundable by us once paid out.
Results and rankings
We do not offer refunds based on Google rankings, traffic, leads or revenue. Google's algorithms are outside our control and change frequently. We commit to applying best-practice optimisation and being transparent about progress, but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
If something has gone wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If you believe a service has not met that standard, tell us within a reasonable time and we will work with you to put it right — by redoing the work, adjusting the scope or, where appropriate, issuing a partial or full refund.
How to request a refund
Email izzy@spherebusinessservices.com with your name, the service, the date of purchase and the reason for the request. We will respond within 5 working days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of agreement.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly and directly.
